Day 4 of the 60 Day Insanity Challenge was a butt kicker… After the warm up Shawn T broke myself and the rest of the Get Fit crew in true fashion! Twenty minutes of a non-stop cardio blast of work outs! All of the work outs that Shawn T instructs focus on keeping your correct form and tightening your core!
In anatomy, the core refers, in its most general of definitions, to the body minus the legs and arms. A lack of core development can result in a predisposition to injury. Major muscles included are the pelvic floor muscles, transversus abdominis, multifidus, internal and external obliques, rectus abdominis, erector spinae (sacrospinalis) especially the longissimus thoracis, and thediaphragm. Minor core muscles include the latissimus dorsi, gluteus maximus, and trapezius.
